When to Call Us
There's rarely one clear sign that it's time to bring in extra support for a parent — usually it's a handful of small things that add up. If any of these sound familiar, it's a good time to reach out.
- Living alone has gotten harder — sometimes suddenly. Daily tasks that used to be simple now take more effort, or a recent loss (like the death of a spouse) means living alone is new territory altogether.
- There's been a fall, a near-fall, or a health change. Even a minor incident is often a signal that something has shifted.
- A caregiver needs a break. Respite isn't always available, and the person doing the caregiving deserves support too.
- Someone's coming home from the hospital or rehab. The transition home is often when new risks show up first.
- Family isn't close by. Checking in regularly isn't realistic from a distance, and that gap is hard to fill alone.
- Something feels off, even if you can't say what. You don't need a diagnosis to start — our tools quietly learn a parent's normal routine, so we can help flag what's changed long before anyone can put a name to it.
- Nights are difficult. Wandering, frequent trips out of bed, or trouble sleeping can be hard to monitor from afar.
- A parent won't accept help — yet. Resistance to "a caregiver" doesn't always mean resistance to a smart, low-key solution.
- You're not sure where to start. If the options feel overwhelming, that's exactly what we're here to sort through with you.
